Side by side on our own journeys... we are In Parallel
As the exact same casting type Stacey and Sue were destined to always be up for the same roles, rarely getting the opportunity to work together. Well not anymore....
In 2022 In Parallel was formed. Our ethos is creatives working side by side, helping each other on our own separate creative journeys, not against each other.
We very much believe in this, as do many creative people we work with and wanted to do something together to support this. Inspired by other female led groups in the Northwest, we aim to create work giving Northern creatives a voice and championing Women through our work.
Who We Are
In Parallel Productions is made up of Suzanne Fulton and Stacey Coleman who are both Northern creatives based in Manchester.
Suzanne Fulton
Sue is an actress/choreographer and producer who grew up in Blackpool.
She is passionate about encouraging the next generation of creatives, to embrace a career in the industry that might seem inaccessible to their class system.
She studied performing arts at Worcester University and now attends the Manchester School of Acting.
When Sue is not producing or performing, you may find her running, reading, sewing or.... eating biscuits watching the Great British Bake Off!
Stacey Coleman
Stacey is an actress and producer who has in the last few years dipped her toe into writing and directing. She is a proud Northerner and loves to champion the Northern voice!
She trained at The Brian Timoney Actors Studio London followed by The Hull Actors Studio LA.
When not working (or at the theatre!) Stacey loves nothing more than grabbing brekkie out with her family, having a good natter with friends or spending time relaxing in the garden...always praying for sunshine!
